Free Tibet?

Well now many Tibetans are in mood to have direct confrontation with China. This year China is hosting Olympics and they don't want any bad things to happen while Tibetans are using this momentum to make their voice heard.

China has always considered Tibet as it's integral part. Tibet had enjoyed autonomous status until China's invasion in 1949. After unsuccessful uprisal in 1959, Dalai Lama fled Tibet and he's been advocating autonomous Tibet ever since. But China is reluctant to offer so.

There are allegations going on that China is suppressing political and religious freedom of Tibetans. And Tibetans haven't forgotten how they were shooed away by Chinese Military. This time also, China's has come to severe crackdown to stop voices of Tibet. In doing so, many people are reportedly killed or arrested. But can use of power stop voices of Tibetans. Are Tibetans doing right or China is doing right? Have you say.

Condemn China

China has been always been suppressing voices for freedom and democracy. Autocratic government has never hesitated being Satan to kill own citizens either that's 1989's Tibet suppression or 1988's Tiananmen Square suppression. Only being economic giant won't make their image look good.

Today's China should be democratic so that all people enjoy the development and feel empowered not some certain section. They should have freedom to enjoy their religious rights and democratic rights. But sadly China doesn't want their citizen to be doing so. It fears this might overthrow the communist government.

Not only inside China, but outside also China is supporting anti-democratic governments for its own benefits either that's the case of Darfur or other African Countries.

Now this is the perfect time to pressure China to respect human rights. May be boycotting the opening ceremony of Olympics by world politicians could be start.
